Security (medical records transcription)

Confidentiality and security in compliance with HIPAA is the hallmark of our medical secretarial services. The implementation and utilization of cutting-edge technology for secure transcription services enable us to keep at par with the HIPAA requirements.

We have an indigenously developed workflow system, which has a three-layer data protection from voice file transfer to final delivery of completed medical transcription. This workflow application runs on a secure server that encrypts all data communication between your computer and our server. To access any data from our workflow or Electronic Medical Record (EMR), a valid user name and password is required.

Besides electronic data protection, prior to starting employment with us, every member of our staff is required to sign a confidentiality agreement, which explicitly requires them to keep all information from dictation and transcription confidential.
